Happy New Years!!!!

As I look back on the year for me and Kason I must say WOW how things have change and at this point in my life I can say there are alot of things I have to just laugh about.

I never thought this time last year that my family would be soon torn apart by the works of the devil but that's what happens when you loose faith and don't trust in God and as the song says by Casting Crowns, its a slow fade.

I must say it has been a year of ups and downs for me but through it all I think I am in the process of becoming a better person. There are alot of things I have to still let go of but I know that is a process that just takes time.

Dennis, I really hope that you are truly happy with the decision you made. For your sake I hope you don't have to look back and think that you might have made the wrong decision. Like I have heard you say many of times... "Only God knows what happened".

I can't thank my parents enough for being there for us both during this very hard year. Their lives too changed very much when me and Kason moved back in but not once did they make us feel unwanted. I can't thank God enough for giving me a great set of Godly, Faith Believing, Stand on the word praying parents.

To my sister and Amy for letting me cry on their shoulder and being there for me through prayer or just a encouraging word. I must say my whole family and all of my friends have really helpd me through a process that in the beginning I didn't know how to handle.

Most of all I wish Kason knew how much he has been a huge joy in my life over this year and that every moment I spend with him is such a delight even when I feel like I am going to pull my hair out at times. It's moments like this
when he give you that really big smile or does his crazy little laugh..that I realize he is the main reason I live my life everyday and that he really was my saving grace.

Last but not least...God. I know without him this process would have been alot worse. There were alot of times I wondered WHY but I know by faith that God has a great plan for me and Kason and I just have to keep my faith in him. I know there have been times I probably have not made the right decision or maybe said the right things but that is why we die daily and I know that his forgiveness is waiting on me if I ask.

And Shaun thanks for just being you and for being apart of this crazy year with me. ;)

I have met alot of new people through this crazy journey in 2008 but they have help me along the way in many ways and have helped make me the person I am today.

I hope everyone has a safe and Happy New Years!!!!

With Lots of Love,
Angela & Kason

Christmas + 70 degrees = Only in Alabama

Well its been a crazy last couple of days...Christmas Eve was spent at my grandmothers and we had a great time with the family. Kason ofcourse wanted to open up everyone elses gifts instead of his on. Kason had started getting alittle sick on Tuesday night with a runny nose, cough and low grade fever...needless to say Tuesday and Wednesday night were sleepless nights but we made it. Christmas morning Kason woke up to a room full of toys from Santa. His favorite things are the Firetruck Cozy Coupe and the Basketball goal. Nana and PaPaw also came by to see what Kason had received from Santa. Later that morning Shaun's kids came over and hung out with there Dad and we did their Christmas. Afterwards me and Kason headed to my grandmothers for Christmas lunch and then once Kason went to his Dad's around 3pm I went to the Dooley Family Christmas. Today was spent in the bed for me because I wanted to catch up on some much needed sleep. I did decide to finally get up and go get a few Christmas items that were on sale for next year. For dinner we cooked on the grill for the kids and then Kason finally got home so Shaun's parents came over to give him his presents from them. Ofcourse as soon as he walks in the door he goes straight to the Firetruck. Its so funny because he only knows reverse and he sometimes doesn't want to use the door he tries it the Dukes of Hazard way.

I hope everyone received everything they wanted for Christmas and had a great time with family and friends.... Hopefully within the next couple of days I will be able to share more pictures from over the holiday week.

2nd Day of Winter and Its Pretty Cold

What a fun weekend....but what about how cold it was this morning. How do we go from 70 to 17 degrees....Alabama weather.

The weekend started pretty early on Friday because we had our department luncheon at Debbie's house then we were off the rest of the day.

That evening we all went to The Stell's for vegetable soup and rock band. I think we played rock band for 3 hours straight. For the most part Shaun was the drummer, Josh was the singer and everyone tried the hand at the guitar.

Saturday morning was Bake Day for me and all the girls in my family. We had a great day together and the pictures say it all....

Saturday night me and Shaun went to the 8 o'clock show of Trans-Siberian Orchestra. We had 14th row floor seats and words can not even describe how awesome the show was. I would recommend everyone to aleast go see it once. It was a 3 hour show that sold over 17,800 tickets between the 2 shows. Its is definitely something I will never forget...

Sunday ofcourse was church then we went to Shaun's grandmother's for Cassidy's Birthday lunch and then decided to fight the Christmas crowd at Walmart. Afterwards we headed home and waited for Kason to come home. Later that evening Mackenzie and Mackayla (Shaun's twin daughters) came over and put their gingerbread house together.

This morning I took Kason to his Aunt Leslie because he is going to spend the day and night with her and Maddie and then it is off to the Mcwane Center tomorrow. She brought him by this morning so I could show everyone at work what an adorable little boy I have. As of 3 pm today I am off work until Monday, December 29th. Hallelujah!!!

I hope everyone had a great weekend!!!

Happy Friday!!!

Moments Like This Is One Of The Many Reason I Love Being A Mommie!!!

Kason all ready for his Christmas Party today...

I hope everyone has had a great week. If it has been anything likes ours it has been busy. Like I mentioned on Monday Kason has to go to his Dad's this weekend... :(
Me and Shaun are going to the Stell's tonight along with other friends for dinner and alittle Rock Band. Tomorrow is the girls Bake Day and it's at my mom's this year because my aunt redid her kitchen and it's not completed yet. Later that night Me and Shaun are going to the Trans-Siberian Orchestra at the BJCC. I have always wanted to go and I am so excited about it. Sunday will be church and then I get Kason back for awhile then he is spending the night with my sister to spend the day with her and Madison on Monday. We have dinner at Firebirds with Alabama Power Monday night and then I'm off the rest of the week...YEAH!!! Me and Leslie are hoping to take the kids to the McWane Science Center to see the Magic of Model Trains exhibit on Tuesday then its Christmas Eve at my MawMaws and then Santa will come and visit Kason on Christmas morning. I'm so excited about seeing how Kason's acts this year..even though I'm sure the boxes and paper will be his main entertainment.

I hope everyone has a great weekend of family and friends!!!

Love you all!!!
