We have been battling a fever since last Tuesday and he didn't really have any other signs. Took him to the doctor on Wednesday tested negative for Strep and Flu...so I got told the standard VIRAL INFECTION. Well 6 days we still are running a fever and not sleeping well at night so I decided to carry him back to Dr. Walley today. After playing atlittle doctor myself with Kason aka practicing throat showing I quickly saw a swollen throat and puss on each side. 2 things??? Strep or Tonsillitis. Verdict for Kason....Tonsillitis. I noticed when he got home yesterday from his dads he sounded funny when he talked. I guess with a swollen throat everyone sounds alittle different. 10 days of antibiotics but should be ready for the giraffe costume aka Halloween party at daycare on Thursday.
Kason wanted to put his boots on the other night and ofcourse he made Shaun wear his around the house as well. I guess you can say they are boot buddies!!!
Weekend was pretty normal. Kason spent the weekend with his dad and me and Shaun tried to get somethings done around the house. We came into some problems with the bathroom but all is well and needless to say most of my house has new plumbing.
Hopefully Kason will get feeling better soon because we want to take him to Boo at the Zoo Friday night and then ofcourse Halloween fun on Saturday.

Me and Kason had the joy of going to Sesame Street Live "When Elmo Grows Up" on October 18th..thanks to his stepmom. As you can see we had a great time and Kason really enjoyed seeing all of his favorite characters on stage. Ofcourse he didn't understand why he couldn't go see Elmo up on the stage.

Josh Candler Stell Is Here
Josh Candler Stell arrived October 12, 2009. The day started normal for April with her weekly doctor visit infact she drove herself to her appointment thinking nothing had changed since her last visit...but oh boy was she wrong. After the doctor got done examining her he said do you want to have a baby today??? You are already at 4 cm. Ofcourse a very swallow (so she says) April couldn't wait to get this baby out of her. So she was sent to labor and delivery and Doug and her mom was right behind. The doctor broke her water and the contraction started. No epidural (Yes girls April did a natural birth again)and a few hours later Josh Candler Stell arrived. He weighed in at 8lbs and 20 inches. If she would have delivered 3 weeks later he probably would have been an 9 or 10 lb baby. Baby Josh and April are doing great and should be able to go home tomorrow.
Kason's picture for behind his bed finally arrived today. I'm so pleased how it turned out and it fits his room perfectly...ROLL Tide Right????

God Cares For the Persecuted
This was shared with me this morning so I wanted to share with everyone else.
Have you ever wished you could flee?
Oh, how I wish I had wings like a dove; then I would fly away and rest! I would fly far away to the quiet of the wilderness. How quickly I would escape far away from this wild storm of hatred.
Psalm 55: 6-8 Nothing great was ever done without much enduring.
Resist Flight:
David was a man after God's own heart and a great anointed king. But in many ways, he was just like us. Psalm 55 is an example. When the pressure was on, David just wanted to run away.
All of us have had similar urges. When life gets intense and troubles seem to offer no way out, we just want to get out of the situation. Every Christian who has been prepared by God and stretched to his or her limits can relate: There are times when we would do anything if God would just remove us from our trail. We'll pray for ways of escape, but God often leaves us surrounded until his time is right.
God has no scorn for such feelings. He made us and He knows our frailties. He understands our impulse to flee from whatever difficulties we face. But he also insists on our endurance, because it has spiritual results that nothing else can accomplish. And there is no way to learn endurance other than simply to endure. We can't learn it in principle or in theory; only pain can teach it to us.
The good news for those who go through intense trials and suffering is that once the impulse to flee is broken, God delivers. When endurance is complete, God removes the tribulation we endured. Every fear is followed by blessing (Psalm 55: 4-8, 16-18). Our God does not leave us in our troubles. He has put us there to discover His provision; He will not withhold it indefinitely. There will be a day of deliverance.

Well Things Didn't Go As Planned...
Well this weekend didn't really go quite as I had planned. Thursday when I picked Kason up from daycare they said he was running a low grade fever. I stayed with my parents Thursday night and Kason stayed with PaPaw on Friday so he wouldn't have to go back to daycare. Friday night we decided to hang out at the house and we watched ALOT of Elmo videos. Saturday morning me and Kason got up and went to the Bryan Elementary Fall Festival with Nana, Leslie and Madison. We had a great time and Kason was able to play alot of the games this year. Thanks Nana!!!! Saturday afternoon when Kason woke up from his nap he was running 103+ fever. I had to run to Walmart and Mt.Vernon to pickup my unsold consignment and get my check. I had stuff that didn't sell but I still received a check for $165.00 YAY!!!! I decided to call the nurse and take him to After Hours at 6:45. Well 3 hours later we were sent home with a viral infection...A BUNCH OF CRAP!! because most of the night he ran 104+ fever. We were suppose to go to the Pumpkin Patch today but I figured high fever + dragging him around the patch all day didn't = mother of the year. I'm trying to rotate Ibuprofen and Tylenol ever 3 hours to keep his fever under control and it looks like PaPaw will get atlittle taste of PaPaw daycare this week.
Please continue to pray for our family as we continue to face very trying times. Please pray that I make the best decision for me and Kason.
