Weekend Review

Well I must say I'm glad last week is over and I'm praying for a better week. Please keep my family in your prayers as we are going through a difficult time and I'm praying God sees us through it.

Kason went to the lake with his Dad this weekend so I ofcourse felt lost without him. Friday night me and Shaun hung out at the house and played UNO...which I thought was going to be Phase 10 and was quite upset when I realized I had told him the wrong game. Saturday morning we were up bright and early for Madison's first 75lb football game...Go ROCKETS!!! Needless to say the Trussville Huskies killed the Rockets...Maybe next time.

Saturday night me and Shaun went and bought groceries and let me just say Walmart in Gardendale is a mess. I am not very happy with the new organizing they have going on. Sunday ofcourse was Sunday School and Church and then spent the rest of the day at the house.

I'm praying for a better week even though I know my life could be alot worse.

I have had a really hard time finding winter dress shoes for Kason. I ordered these off the Stride Rite website and I'm hoping they fit.

Thanks to Granny Linda's Birthday Gift Card I was able to go ahead and buy Kason's Halloween Costume...He will be a Lion.

Elmo Cake PLEASE

Last night me and Shaun went to the funeral home and Kason stayed with his Granny Linda. She was nice enough to give him a bath and have him ready for bed when we got there to pick him up. When we got home Kason kept asking for ELMO CAKE PLEASE...so Shaun being the sucker he is at times decided to let him have one. Needless to say we had to bath off again and put on a new pair of PJ's.

Should kids eat Cupcakes at 7:45 pm???? Kason sure does think so.

Kason's 1st Bubble Bath

Kason's 2 Year Check Up

You know your child has been to the doctor to much in one week when you pull in the parking deck and he points to his hand and says Spongebob Stamp????

Height: 35 1/4
Weight 26 lbs 4 ozs

Dr. Walley said he was alittle under weight but that was probably due to him being sick all last week and we wasn't concerned about it at all. Other than that we got his flu shot and were out.

Happy Birthday Kason

Two years ago you were born. I held you for the first time and looked into your eyes and thought Oh Lord what am I going to do with you.

Today you call me by name as I walk in the door. You scream, Mommie!" and run for me to pick you up. I can’t believe how much you are talking now and how much you have learned over the year. You are growing up so quickly and I just don’t feel like I am ready for that.

Now I see you growing into a strong, sturdy little boy, and I could not be more proud of you. You have a sweet spirited personality — you are curious, stubborn and loving all in a 1000% BOY. You love to play with cars and balls (Baseballs, Footballs & Basketballs) but you still insist that “Blankie” goes everywhere with you. Every day is an adventure. I only wish I could spend more of my days with you.You will always be my son.

No matter what the circumstances, I promise to love you unconditionally.

Since you were a baby, I have prayed the same prayer for you: "God, thank you for giving me a Kason. Thank you for blessing me with him. Please keep him safe and watch over every step he takes, hold him in the palm of your hand. Let him grow into a wise, godly man and let him be a light to others. And let me be the best mother I can be."

The years will fly by and you will be grown before I know it, but my prayer for you will always be the same.

Happy birthday Kason...I love you

Please let this week get better

Well so far this week has not started off very well. Kason came home from his daddy's sick and so now after having a fever of 103+ this morning we are going to make a visit to Redmont Pediatrics just to be on the safe side since he has his 2nd Birthday party this weekend. I have got to get the little man better. :( Shaun has been able to watch Kason for me in the mornings until he has to go to work so I can atleast get 1/2 a day of work in. A week off with my dad, a week for the honeymoon and week for Florida vacation will kill your time off. Oh well atleast I have good memories ;)

When I got home yesterday this is what I found...so
sweet I had to get a picture.

Kason was with his dad this weekend and they celebrated
his 2nd birthday at his Granny and PaPaw Reno's house.

This was a driving suit I bought many years ago
before I was even pregnant with Kason. Now his
daddy want give it back to me...lol :)

As far as me and Shaun last weekend..Friday night we hung out with Chuck and Jennifer. Me and Jennifer saw The Time Travelers Wife and the guys saw The Collector. Saturday morning I cleaned house all day and then I had Angela time that evening while Shaun went to play poker with the guys. Sunday was Sunday School and Church and then back home for alittle couch time until Kason got home that evening.

Kason was suppose to start Preschool yesterday but due to his current sickness that hasn't happened yet. I need him to feel better because we have an Elmo Birthday party this weekend.

Today is my Dad's Birthday and my Parents Anniversery of 37 years.

I have a busy rest of the week trying to get things ready for Kason's birthday party. I can't believe Friday he will be 2 years old. Where has the time gone???

Okay back to work... :) :) :)

Mommie's Little Super Hero

Today was PJ day at daycare and so he got to wear his new Batman pajamas...(clearance at Walmart).

Last night me and Dennis had meet the teacher night at Kason's daycare. He will start 2 year old preschool on Monday so we had to take all his school supplies. YES 2 year olds get a school supply list as well. Not to mention $25 classroom fee. We also got his 09-10 schedule and it looks like he will have a full day of crafts, bible time, play, snacks and potty time. I am super excited to see how much more he learns this year. He has already learn so much more since he started Mt. Vernon in June and I can't wait to see what this year holds for him.

On a sad note Kason has to go to his dads this weekend :( I have alot to do that can keep me busy. I plan on cleaning my house and getting things ready for his 2nd birthday party next weekend.

Hope everyone has had a great week and enjoy the weekend.

What A Great Weekend!!!!

Friday night Shaun had to work so me and Kason hung out at the house..playing and watching anything from, Veggie Tales, Elmo and Spongebob.

Saturday morning Kason slept till about 7:30 and then he was 100% all day. Me and Shaun took him to my sister church at North Gardendale for there Back To School Summer Party. They had a water slide, slip and slide and little pools setup for the kids to play in. Kason had a blast with the water slide and decided that going down head first was alot more funnier then on his booty.

Afterwards Kason went to spend the night with his Nana & PaPaw since they don't get to keep him very much and then later that night me and Shaun went to Chuck and Jennifer's for a game of poker and then to watch the UFC fight. I ofcourse went for the gossip ;).

Sunday ofcouse was Sunday School and Church and then to Shaun's parents for lunch. Shaun had to work and I went to April's baby shower.

Afterwards I went up to my Aunt's pool to spend the rest of the evening with my family and watched Kason swim. He decided he would jump into the water without his swimmies on and ofcourse he wasn't to happy when he didn't come up quite so quick. As you can see he quickly got over that and was back to normal.

On our way home we made a stop by the church to see Shaun and then headed home for a bath and then bed.

Today it's back to work and it's Kason's last week in daycare. Next week he starts Preschool. Everyday this week he gets to dress a certain way..Monday - Hat, Tuesday -Dress Backwards, Wednesday - Dress Yourself, Thursday - Character and Friday - PJ. Thursday night we get to meet his teacher and take all his supplies to his classroom.

This look is priceless...This is his take the picture smile so I can get down.

I hope everyone had a great weekend...Please keep all the students and teachers in your prayes this week as they get ready to go back to school. My neice Madison starts 1st Grade, Mackenzie and Mackayla will be Seniors and Mikah will be 10th grade at Gardendale. Not to mention both girls are living with us so we all will be getting ready with only 1 bathroom. Extra prayers for us in the morning time so we don't all kill each other. :) Also my dad started back work today so pray he has a unstressful week.

Love you all, Angela
