Iguana Grill New Year's Eve

Shaun, Me and Mikah at Iguana Grill....YUMMIE

Who knows...maybe I was suppose to be checking his teeth

BIG SMILES!!!

Shaun being goofy

You don't see me??? And I must be thinking stupid
with the look on my face

Finally a serious picture...

New Motto for 2010 - 2 cute not to share

Put on your "big girl" panties and deal with it!!

A Poem About Our Girlfriends
Someone will always be prettier.
Someone will always be smarter.
Some of their houses will be bigger.
Some will drive a better car.
Their children will do better in school.
And their husband will fix more things around the house.
So let it go, and love you and your circumstances
Think about it!
The prettiest woman in the world can have hell in her heart.
The most highly favored woman on your job may be unable to have children.
The richest woman you know, she's got the car, the house, the clothes~ might be lonely.
So, love who you are.
Look in the mirror in the morning and smile and say,
'I am too Blessed to be Stressed and too Anointed, to be Disappointed!'
'Winners make things happen~~ Losers let things happen.'

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve day was spent around the house getting ready for a big night at my Grandmother's. Every Christmas Eve my entire family goes to my Grandmother's for a time together, opening gifts and a friendly :) game of Dirty Santa. This year I fixed Buffalo Chicken Dip as my Christmas Eve dish and it was a hit with everyone. As you can see by the picture of the tree everyone gets alot of wonderful gifts. We always let the kids open presents first then all the adults play dirty Santa. It's so funny because we play it different every year and one year we will finally all agree on how the game should be played. YEAH RIGHT!!!! All the woman have also made an agreement for next year...NO SNOWMAN!!!!

We are a very blessed family...

Me and My sweet little boy

Sylvia always let's Kason open the first gift...She got him a Bulldozer

Who Is Coming To See Kason Tonight???

Christmas Eve Eve at The Dooley's

Tonight we went to Shaun's parents to celebrate Christmas and had a great time. Kason got a M&M army truck, tool box rolling set and his very own keyboard. Ofcourse Kason thinks it's a piano and he loves it. We also got a gift card for dinner at Logan's and some money...YEPPIE!!! Thanks Poppy and Nanny for all the great gift.

Can't Believe It's Christmas Time

I have got to get back blogging better than what I have. I have no excuse now because I have a new laptop at home.

Kason is in full Christmas mode even though I still don't think he really understands Santa. He did however tell me last night when I asked him what he wanted from Santa he said a Guitar and a Piano. Hopefully Santa and friends can pull those items off for him. ;)

We have alot of things going on over the next couple of days...Tonight we will celebrate Christmas with The Dooley's. Tomorrow is Christmas Eve at my Grandmother, Santa Christmas morning and then back to my Grandmother's for lunch. Hopefully Shaun kids will come over sometime Christmas day and then Kason will be going to his dad's Christmas afternoon :( I always hate having to share my sweet little one on holidays. This is when it gets really tough and emotional for me.

Me and Shaun have decided to take a break from Facebook for awhile and so now you will have to keep up with us via my blog.

I really hope that everyone has a GREAT Christmas!!!

Love you all, Angela

Jingle Bells!!!!

Thanksgiving Fun

What a busy Thanksgiving...Wednesday I had to take Kason to the doctor because the night before he was running 102 fever. Well ofcourse the doctor said it was probably viral right now but due to Kason's history they went ahead and gave him a shot and antibotics. That night we had our annual get together at my MaMaw's where all the grandkids and great grandkids decorate her Christmas tree. Thursday ofcourse was Thanksgiving and we ate alot of really good food. Kason spent the night with Nana and PaPaw so I could go shopping Friday morning. Yes I was one of those crazy people outside of Belk's at 3:50 am. I however got the boots I wanted for $20 (regular $80), stood in line at Kmart for a hour and half, went to Lowes and got alot of really good deals. Ofcourse Friday was the Iron Bowl and we all went up to my aunt and uncles for our annual football party. After a very good football game Alabama came on top with the win. I knew AL would win but atleast they didn't kill them like all the "crazy" AL thought they would. Saturday morning we headed to Nashville with my sister, Steven and Madison. We took the kids to Charlie Brown ICE. Kason loved it until he went down the ice slide. I must admit is was pretty rough slide and after that Kason couldn't get out of the 6 degree building quick enough. We spent the rest of the day visiting the Opry Mills mall and the Gaylord hotel. We had a great time and Kason really seemed to have a good time. Sunday ofcourse was church and then dinner at the Dooley's.

Kason has been at his dad's since Sunday and I got a call today at 2:45 pm saying Kason was running a fever at daycare. Called the doctor since we were just there on Wednesday and ofcourse they want to see him again. Hopefully the whole day want be ruined and we can make a stop by Chucky Cheese for some fun if he is up for it.

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving with family and friends.

I'm Really Behind On Posting....

I'm really behind on posting so hopefully I can get caught up...The first weekend in November I was able to go visit my cousin in Auburn with my Aunt and Grandmother. It was homecoming for Auburn and AG roundup. Shelley was a great host and cooked a homemade breakfast Saturday morning and then her sweet husband cooked tacos for dinner...my belly didn't complain all weekend.

Last weekend we took Kason to a birthday party at Chick fil A for a little boy who's parents are in our Sunday School Class. Kason had alot of funny and enjoyed seeing the Chick fil A cow. Thanks Kourtney and Jeremy for inviting us!!!

Sunday we went down to Morris Avenue with my sister and took some family shots..Kason ofcourse didn't really care to much for picture taking as usually but I think we got some I can work with.

Hope everyone is doing well. Please continue to keep my family in your prayers.

Halloween Fun

We had a great Halloween week and weekend. I was able to go to Kason's Halloween party at daycare on Thursday. I was really nerves if he would make it since we found out on Monday he had tonsillitis but antibiotics kicked in and we were fever free. YEAH!!! His giraffe costume turned out great that I made him and I got alot of comments from other moms at daycare. ;)

The party theme was animals...GIRAFFES, TIGERS, MONKEYS and ELEPHANTS

Friday night we were suppose to take the kids to Boo at the Zoo but due to mother nature that didn't happen. We met up with my sister and parents at Chick fil A for dinner then took the kids over to K-mart for some Halloween activities. All I can say about that trip is WOW WOW WOW. We saw all types of people.

Saturday ofcourse was Halloween. Me and Kason spent the day hanging out at the house while Shaun worked on a side job. Later on that night we headed out for some Halloween fun. First stop was Granny Linda's, then Me-Me's and a quick stop by Nanny and Poppy's before heading to my parents church for there annual fall festival. Kason had alot of fun and alot of sugar. Later that night we met up with his dad so Kason could spend the rest of the night with him.

Mommie's Little Lion...I figure this will be my last year for a zip up costume I'm sure next year he will be a super hero or something.

Kason got alot of goodies

Fed him just enough sugar before passing him off to daddy!!

Sunday ofcourse was church and it was nice to finally get back. Between Kason being sick and house problems we haven't been to church alot this month so getting back to our Sunday School class was nice. After church we went to Nanny and Poppy's for Sunday lunch then headed home. I hung out at the house doing odd and end things before Kason came home. Not really for sure what the beginning of the week holds. Thursday is our family girl trip to Christmas Village...YIPPIE!!!! Friday I'm heading to Auburn for the weekend with my Aunt Robin to spend time with my cousin Shelley while Kason spends the weekend with his daddy.

Kason loves playing in Shaun's boots
